Write us an op-ed — the invitation

You have the opinion, but it's trapped in an echo chamber of fleeting social media stories. We're inviting you to give that thinking a permanent home, in a place built for rigorous debate.

Jump to TL;DR

You have the opinion. It’s been workshopped in your head for weeks, sharpened by articles you’ve read and conversations you’ve had. You’ve been ranting about it, eloquently and at length, into the self-affirming void of your Instagram stories, seen only by the same hundred people who already agree with you.

This is a waste. Not just of your time, but of the intellectual energy you’ve already expended. The echo chamber is comfortable, but nothing grows there. Your well-reasoned, multi-part story expires in 24 hours, leaving no trace, sparking no meaningful opposition, and changing nothing. It is a performance of being informed, not the act of informing.

Send it here instead.

This is an open invitation to give your thinking a permanent home. We are formally positioning Too Many Opinions as a home for op-eds—opinion-editorials—from community leaders, subject matter experts, and educated voices. We’re not looking for hot takes; we’re looking for the developed, rigorous arguments you’re currently pouring into ephemeral media.

An op-ed is not a blog post. It is not a journal entry. It is a work of persuasion, grounded in evidence and experience, designed to make a single, clear point. It’s the next logical step for the thesis you’ve been honing in private. You’ve done the reading, you’ve connected the dots, and you’ve formed a coherent worldview on a subject. You simply haven't written it down in a way that lasts.

We are interested in arguments from all sides of a debate, provided they are argued well. The qualification for entry is not allegiance to a specific ideology, but the demonstrated ability to construct a sound and compelling case. We are not interested in creating another echo chamber; we are building an arena. A place to see opposing viewpoints articulated with their sharpest possible intelligence.

If you are a founder who has a strong, tested belief about the right way to build a company, write it down. If you are an academic with a perspective that is struggling to break out of niche journals, send it to us. If you are a community organiser who has on-the-ground experience that contradicts the mainstream narrative, this is the place for it.

The goal is to create a public library of first-hand thinking, a collection of arguments that stand on their own merit. A place where you can send a single link and say, ‘This is what I believe, and this is why’. No more 'link in bio' chaos or 15-part story threads. Just your best thinking, presented with clarity.

This is an antidote to the content churn. It’s a move towards slower, more deliberate discourse. In time, we expect debate circles to form around the ideas published here, creating a web of arguments and counter-arguments that can be followed, studied, and built upon.

You’ve already done the hard work of forming the opinion; now give it the respect it deserves.
